At Barely Barefoot, you are welcome to try on and purchase anything from our current range in store, with most styles, colours, and sizes readily available.

Our shop is based within the R J Draper & Co factory shop. It is a truly unique experience. You can view the Draper sheepskin slipper production team at work in the background, the Drapers history board with archive photos and company information, alongside original machinery displayed in the windows. The building itself is a purpose built factory and a proud part of Britain’s industrial heritage. You’ll also find original wooden shoe lasts on display. There is evidence of leather making on our site dating back to 1888. The farmhouse at the front, a listed building, is also part of our story and remains under company ownership.

Directions to Our Shop

Barely Barefoot is located within R J Draper & Co Ltd, just outside Glastonbury town centre, at the foot of Glastonbury Tor on the road towards Shepton Mallet. There is a spacious car park located at the front of the factory, and the shop entrance can be found on the left hand side of the building. Parking is free for all shop visitors.
